The JB Collection

17 Carnaby

To the RIGHT, is a piece of writing I found on the net a couple of days ago. I presume Jo-Beth Taylor wrote it. Why didn't I treat her properly, they always say? I can answer that question with the photo, on the LEFT. I took the photo on 1-November-2021. That day, I stood in front of the Radio Station building at 17 Carnaby Street for five hours. I had arranged to meet her there. She never showed up. However, according to them, it was a Tie A Yellow Ribbon Around The Old Oak Tree, type of thing. I would be welcomed back. She couldn't wait. Etc. Simple fact is, in twenty-six years, I have never met her.

I went to the Police, the same afternoon. I told the Police at the time to put my speech through their lie detector. I said, 'I can stop drugs'. My words were true according to their lie detector. I now have a webpage called DrugsBeaten.com.

When a radio station calls someone a pedophile, they get more customers. More customers mean more money for them. A radio station doesn't necessarily have to tell the truth. They expect that they can do as they please.

My 'Monkey' song was NOT written about a drug. I haven't been a regular listener to Triple M in fourteen years.

Jo's Writing?

“99 Reasons” is a pop song released by Jo Beth Taylor in 1991. It was written by Mark Holden and Fred Zarr, and produced by Fred Zarr. The song is featured on Taylor’s album, also titled “99 Reasons”.

The lyrics of the song convey a message about the importance of genuine affection and communication in a relationship. Taylor sings about how material possessions, such as roses, diamonds, money, and cars, hold no significance compared to hearing the right words from her partner. She emphasizes that she needs to hear those words, and one reason, to feel secure in the relationship.

Throughout the song, Taylor expresses her desire for her partner to say what he means and to show his feelings through meaningful actions. She believes that talk alone is not enough and that she requires genuine words and gestures of love to feel valued and secure.

The chorus repeats the phrase “I could give you 99 reasons, why I’ll never let you go” and emphasizes that one reason, one genuine expression of love, is all she needs to feel secure in the relationship.

Listening to “99 Reasons” takes me back to a time when I was navigating the ups and downs of my own romantic relationship. The lyrics resonated with me because I, too, believed that actions and words aligned with genuine feelings were essential for a deep connection.

The song served as a reminder that material things could never replace the importance of emotional support and open communication. It made me reflect on my own relationship and strive for more authentic expressions of love.

During difficult moments in my relationship, listening to “99 Reasons” offered solace and reminded me of the importance of open and honest communication. It encouraged me to express my needs and expectations to my partner and fostered deeper understanding and growth in our relationship.

Triple M Brisbane mostly play sport now. And 4KQ always play sport now. The other commercial radio stations in Brisbane play music that is not profitable. The government here want drugs gone. The Queensland people don't want drugs here.
